Call of Duty CLONED And RIPPED OFF?
Published at : November 01, 2021
Call of Duty fans were stunned as a nearly pixel for pixel clone of Modern Warfare 2019 was launched as a mobile game...completely without permission from Activision.
In possibly the most blatant ripoff in gaming history, a game called Combat Master that appears to have copy and pasted literally everything from Call of Duty Modern Warfare is now for sale as a mobile game. Everything from operator and weapon skins down to the user interface and loading screens seem to be direct, blatant copies of Activision’s 2019 hit shooter.
Activision did not approve or license this new game, which makes the blatant copy and pasting of all the assets from one of the biggest titles in Call of Duty history even more insane. Not only did the devs of Combat Master basically steal an entire game from activision, they are even selling the weapon and operator skins for up to $40 a pop.
Activision has yet to respond to this blatant Call of Duty clone, but given how hard they went after other game devs for using even remotely similar IP, like the company behind warzone.com, we have to imagine a massive lawsuit is on the way. Until that happens however, Combat Master still up and available for purchase.
